Stafford MSD hosted its first summer coding academy in the summer of 2019.  100 students from the district attended a week long coding program which included 3rd graders through high school.  These students were divided into the teachers who attended the academy program and were taught about coding using iPads and software provided by the school district and Apple, Inc.  These students were dedicated to the program and were able to continue during the academic school year to be part of the coding clubs and/or robotics teams.  This upcoming school year I will continue adding more students to the coding program to prepare students for our new Stafford STEM Magnet School which will open in the Fall 2021.  Please take a look at the student videos and pictures of the summer and clubs!
